Modern Brass Globe Wall Sconce
Meet the Brass Bar and Opal Globe Wall Sconce – a slim brushed brass bar about 11.8 in (30 cm) tall with a single frosted opal glass globe held partway down it.
Why You’ll Love It
- Sculpture on the wall – Setting the globe partway down the bar makes the fixture read as composed rather than symmetrical.
- Soft, even glow – The frosting diffuses the filament completely, so the globe glows across its whole surface with no bright point.
- Takes the edge off – The soft, near-omnidirectional light suits a bedside or hallway rather than reading fine print.
- Singly or in pairs – Mount two either side of a bed to balance each other, or one alone beside a chair or along a corridor.
- Ready out of the box – It comes with a 9 W G9 bulb in warm white, replaceable with any standard G9.
Good to Know
Brushed brass is a living finish and will gradually deepen in tone with handling and age. The fixture is hardwired to a mains supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.
