Meet the Cylinder Up & Down Outdoor Wall Light – a black IP65 up down wall light for porch, patio, entry and garage walls. One either side of a door is enough for most entrances; along a longer wall, spacing of about 6.5 to 10 ft (two to three meters) gives an even rhythm. It mounts to a standard outdoor junction box and is hard-wired – installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. It switches from its circuit, so any sensor or timer sits on the circuit rather than in the fitting.

Can it be mounted where rain hits it directly?
Yes. It is rated IP65, which covers dust and jets of water, so an exposed wall is fine. It is not intended for immersion.
How far apart should I space them?
Around 6.5 to 10 ft (two to three meters) along a long wall gives an even rhythm. One either side of a door is enough for most entrances.
Does it need a bulb?
No. The 20 W LED is integrated, so there is nothing to buy or replace.
Is there a sensor or timer?
No. It switches from the circuit it is wired to, so any sensor or timer would sit on that circuit rather than in the fitting.
