Modern Gooseneck Reading Floor Lamp

Meet the Modern Dimmable Gooseneck Reading Floor Lamp – a dimmable black LED floor lamp built as a reading lamp: slim matte black pole, flexible gooseneck and a round LED head, 59 in (150 cm) tall. It works as a standing lamp for the living room or bedroom wherever a chair needs its own light, and the LED is built into the head so there is no bulb to buy.

Why You’ll Love It

Aim it exactly – Bend the gooseneck once and it stays – the light sits directly over the page, and rebends in a second when someone else takes the chair.
No glare in your eye – The flat disc head faces down, so the lit surface stays out of your line of sight and a clean circle lands on the book.
Warm to daylight – Three color modes plus dimming – evening reading in warm light, a laptop or craft work in the cooler tone – all from an inline switch at hand height.
Stands close to the chair – A low weighted disc base slides under the edge of a sofa or armchair instead of blocking your feet.

Frequently asked questions

Both are set from the inline switch on the cord - it cycles the three color modes and adjusts the dimming, so you never have to reach down to the base.

Yes. It is a stiff flexible section rather than a hinge, so it stays where you bend it and can be reshaped as often as you like.

No. The LED panel is built into the head.

Yes, that is what it is built for. Positioned over a chair it puts a clear pool of light on the page; turned up to the cooler mode it also works for a laptop or craft work.
