Nordic Oak Desk Lamp

Meet the Oak Turn-Head Desk Lamp – a sage green Nordic wood desk lamp with an adjustable shade – the modern task lamp for office, study and bedside. The powder-coated shade is deep enough to keep the bulb out of your eye line when angled down at a book, and the weight sits in the round oak base so a knock does not send it over. It arrives on a US two-pin plug with an inline switch on the cord. Bulb not included.

Why You’ll Love It

Holds its angle – Loosen the knurled collar, turn the shade, tighten – the ball joint locks so the shade does not creep back up while you read.
Furniture, not equipment – No clamp, no folding arms, no visible hardware beyond the joint, so it sits as comfortably beside a bed as on a desk.
Oak that ages well – A clear finish lets the grain read, and the timber warms with age rather than yellowing.
Your choice of bulb – A standard screw-fit socket means you pick the brightness and warmth – a warm 4–8 W LED is the usual choice.

On the desk

Angled down over a book or a keyboard, the deep shade keeps the bulb out of your eye line.

02

On the nightstand

No clamp and no folding arms, so it sits in a bedroom as furniture rather than as equipment.

03

The ball joint

Loosen the knurled collar, turn the shade to where you want it, tighten it again. It holds the angle.

Frequently asked questions

No. The lamp takes a standard screw-fit bulb, which you supply. A warm-white LED of around 4-8 W suits it well for desk or bedside use.

The ball joint lets the shade tilt down towards a book or up towards the wall, and rotate side to side. Tighten the collar to lock it.

A US two-pin plug with an inline switch on the cord.

The weight is concentrated in the round oak base, which keeps it steady even with the shade tilted out over the edge of a desk.
