Japanese Rice Paper Floor Lamp

Meet the Japanese Rice Paper Column Floor Lamp – a tall Japanese paper floor lamp with timer – the modern corner lamp and standing lamp for living room and bedroom. Cream rice paper, wider at the top and bottom and gently waisted through the middle, with fine horizontal ribbing across the whole surface. Corded, plugs into a wall outlet. Dust with a dry soft brush and never wipe the paper with water.

Why You’ll Love It

Fixes the empty corner – A chair looks stranded there and a plant only half works; a lit column reads as deliberate and takes almost no floor.
Glows, doesn't beam – Lit from within, the ribbed paper gives an even ambient light that can be the only lamp on in a room in the evening.
Three tones and a timer – Select warm, neutral or cool, and let the built-in timer switch it off so it never has to be turned off at the wall.
No base to work around – The column stands on itself, so it sits hard into a corner or in the narrow gap beside a sofa.

For the corner nothing else fixes

A chair looks stranded in an empty corner and a plant only half works. A lit column reads as deliberate and takes almost no floor, because it stands on itself with no spreading base to work around.

One light for the whole evening

Lit, the column glows evenly from the inside rather than throwing a beam, which is what lets it be the only light on in a room after dark.

Set it and forget it

Three selectable light colors and a built-in timer, so the lamp switches itself off rather than being turned off at the wall.

It switches the lamp off after a set period, so it does not have to be turned off at the wall.

No. The column stands directly on the floor, so it can sit hard into a corner or in a narrow gap beside a sofa.
