Japanese Rice Paper Egg Table Lamp
Meet the Table Lamp with Tall Rice Paper Egg Shade on Black Tripod Legs – a rice paper table lamp in the Japanese lantern tradition. The shade is ribbed white rice paper in a tall egg shape, with a slim wire hoop arching over the top, raised on three splayed black iron legs. An E27 bulb sits inside and the paper turns it into an even, warm glow - an ambient lamp for a bedroom, a living room corner or a hallway console rather than a task light. Dust with a dry soft brush and keep the paper away from water.
Why You’ll Love It
- The whole shade is the light – Light comes through the ribbed rice paper rather than out of the ends, so it fills a room softly with no hard edges.
- Tall enough to matter – About 18.5 in (47 cm) high and 11 in (28 cm) across - it holds its own on a sideboard or a bedside without crowding it.
- Standard E27 socket – Takes a regular E27 bulb of your choice (not included), so you pick the warmth and brightness.
- Ready to plug in – Corded with a US plug and a switch on the cord.
